Cissbury Lodge No 5237

Looking for a place to meet new people, explore meaningful traditions, and give back to the community? Cissbury Lodge might be just what you need. We’re a Freemasons lodge based at the Charmandean Centre in Worthing, and we come together on the third Thursday of January, March, May, July, September, and November.

Our members come from all kinds of backgrounds—everyone from butchers and taxi drivers to dentists and military personnel—united by a desire for real connections, unique rituals, and the chance to make a difference through charity. We keep things social with monthly dinners (called Festive Boards), ladies’ nights, and fun get-togethers. We also visit other lodges because, hey, networking isn’t just for LinkedIn!

Twice a month (on the first and fourth Thursday), we run a Lodge of Instruction so members can brush up on rituals and learn more about Freemasonry. Whether you’re after friendships that go beyond a group chat, a way to serve others, or simply a new experience, you’ll find a warm welcome at Cissbury Lodge.
